Welcome to 24th IAES (International Acoustic Emission Symposium) held in beautiful city in Sapporo, JAPAN. It is my honor to be the chairman of organizing committee of this historic symposium. IAES has been held every two years since 1972 in Japan. The symposiums are organized by The Japan Society for Non-Destructive Inspection (JSNDI). The topics to be discussed at IAES covers a wide range of applications and industries. We organizing committee member welcome all of researchers and engineers related to Acoustic Emission and looking forward to discuss with you. Sapporo is a very beautiful and attractive city in Japan.
